Screening is crucial for a successful tenancy. We use advanced tools and team expertise to complete credit, background, and reference checks before liaising with landlords to confirm the right match.

 

Healthy Homes Compliance
Surprisingly, many rental management companies require owners to ensure compliance themselvesor apply charges to owners to engage assessors to complete a review. At Keen On Rentals, our Healthy Homes inspection is standard procedure. All rental properties in New Zealand must meet the Healthy Homes Standards, which set minimum requirements for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture ingress, and draught stopping. These standards are legally enforceable under the Residential Tenancies Act.  Non-compliance can involve substantial penalty costs for owners, which are completely avoidable if the right reviews and assessments are done at the right time.

 

Inspections
Entry and routine inspections are essential for insurance and property care. We do not charge extra for inspections, they are the foundation of effective management and one of the core reasons why you engage a property manager in the first place. We also use industry-leading technology, including powerful 360° cameras, to deliver virtual inspection reports for both owners and tenants

 

Property Maintenance Coordination
Protecting your investment requires cost-effective maintenance over time. We identify maintenance needs early and communicate clearly with owners before engaging trusted contractors. Financial Reporting
Owning a rental property is owning a business. We provide comprehensive financial reporting and monthly owner statements that are detailed, concise, and transparent – with no additional line-item charges. We really mean “no surprises”.
